    1. Plan to visit Magallanes national reserve, which sits 1000 feet (0.3 km) above sea level.

It features lush vegetation cerulean water reserve on nearly, 49000 acres. You can find a lot of black woodpeckers, pumas, and gray foxes in the area.

    2. Visit Museo naval y Maritimo

If history excites you, you must visit Museo naval y Maritimo, which has the remains of shipwrecks, ancient maritime equipment, charts, maps, and radio rooms. It offers deep insight into the Punta Arenas naval history, including a count of Chilean expeditions.

    3. Experience city walk

The best way to experience the city is to walk along Calle Fagnano to Mirador La Cruz’s viewpoint. Here you can explore the stunning view of the city’s colourful iron rooftops as well as the strait of Magellan.

    4. Take a ferry ride of about one and a half hours across the Magellan strait.

It will take you to an island – home to the largest Magellanic penguin colony, where about 120,000 nesting birds return annually between October and March. The ferry runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, allowing you to explore the island for one hour.
