Best hostels in Paris for Couples
The best hostel in Paris for couples is Les Piaules Hostel.
It is the best boutique hostel that comes with a romantic touch, yet the social factor we all enjoy in a hostel. It is the kind of luxury hostel couples will enjoy for sure.
There is different types of private rooms. Check carefully when booking.
All private rooms come with real double beds. A real double beds means one king-size bed (and not two separate beds pushed together as one!).
One type of double room has shared facilities. The other one comes with a private bathroom. Take this into account when choosing the room.
All private rooms (and all dorms) feature super fast-WiFi. No need to worry!
What is important for couples in a hostel?
When staying as a couple in a hostel, we recommend looking for the following facilities:
- Minimum of privacy in your private room
- a bit of luxury style
- social ambiance
My 2nd recommendation for best hostels in Paris for couples is Generator Paris.
The reason is super simple. They offer beautiful and modern private rooms with ensuite roof top terrace. Now, that’s something, right?!
Best PARTY hostels in Paris
Let’s switch from romance to party.
Fancy some fiesta? The best party hostel in Paris is St. Christopher’s Inn Gare Du Nord.
The in-house bar is perfect to get the night out started. There is pub crawls you can join and happy hours on drinks. We think it is the best option since it’s an organized hostel and both female and male travelers can party in a fun and safe place. Usually, the hostel has a great mix of girls and guys looking for a good time.
The in-house bar and restaurant is quite huge, and perfect for events. Even locals come here to watch live football and other sports.
Another plus is their modern pods – perfect to sleep in and cure the hangover the next day.
Of course, you can join pub crawls in Paris on your own.
What is important for partying in Paris?
A party hostel has to be defined by that. It has to be a social place, a place to mingle and have an awesome time.
The basic facilities of a party hostel in Paris are:
- Pub Crawls
- in-house bar
- events organized in-house
- perfect mix of guys and girls
- social ambiance to meet people easily and have a few drinks

Best hostels in Paris for solo-travellers

If you are really looking for some party, then scroll up again and get our recommendation from there. The St. Christopher’s Inn Gare Du Nord is the coolest party-accommodation in town, perfect for solo-travellers, students and everyone looking for a party time.
If you want it a bit more calm, yet super fun and cool, then here you go: Generator Paris is your pick!
It is super safe place that is really clean. They also offer many facilities for people to connect. The bar is a hotspot, for instance. They also have ping pong tables, foosball and much more. They also have their roof top terrace that is a guarantee to meet people.
Here is our guide on how build lifetime friendships in hostels.
As for sleeping, you can choose between a mixed dorm and the only 8-bed female-only dorms. The mixed dorms come with 4 beds (the smallest option) up to 10 beds per dorm.
Good to know: All dorms have private bathrooms! You only share these with your room mates, and not the whole floor.
Disadvantage: The only disadvantage about Generator Hostel might be the lack of curtains in the dorms. If you are a solo-traveller looking for a top-hostel with curtains in the dorm, then we recommend Les Piaules.
Below I included two photos for you to compare it easily. It is just a detail, though I enjoy the curtains in a dorm.
