They have consistently fantastic amenities including dedicated co-working spaces, onsite bar-restaurant and many, many cool activities to join in such as yoga, live music and dance.
We’ve stayed in many Selina hostels on our travels, and we want to share with you some of the best. This way, you have plenty of ideas for your next big round-the-world trip.
1. Selina Quito
As with many Selina hostels, Selina Quito offers a perfect balance of travel, work, explore and relax.
“Located high in the Andes mountains, Quito is the perfect mix of old colonial Spain and modern city sprawl.”
Psst! Selina Quito happens to be one of our top 3 best hostels in Quito.
Make the most of the dedicated Co-Working spaces here, and then balance out your time by enjoying the gorgeous courtyard, onsite bar and yoga classes. Sounds pretty good, we know.
The 4 and 10-bed mixed dorms are definitely the classic option, but you can also splash out on a private room. They are split between ‘standard’ and ‘deluxe’ so there’s a room to suit all budgets here.
2. Selina Villa de Leyva
There’s a real charm about the Selina hostel in Villa de Layva – modern, tasteful design, peaceful vibes and big spaces.
Certainly one of the highlights here is the huge outdoor swimming pool. It’s a much needed respite from the heat and the nearby swinging hammocks add to the peaceful atmosphere.

Bright colours, quirky layout and ample social spaces, that’s what we love. It’s easy to meet new people here for sure, but also possible to do your own thing and enjoy some quiet time.
There’s a bar, restaurant and indoor lounge which provide an ideal circumstance for a good evening in.
We especially like the private rooms here which come with a private balcony and deck chairs. Fancy!

Selina Huaraz has done well to match the vibe of Peru, specifically with bright colours and artwork you could spend hours staring at!
