Honestly we better stop there otherwise this will be a huge review. Trust us when we say this hostel is excellent.

On The Road Hostel is pretty basic but it’s affordable and enjoyable if you’re not looking for anything fancy.
The location right be the beach and the outdoor pool are certainly highlights.
There are all sorts of room types here including female and mixed dorms, family rooms and an array of private rooms.

If you’re a bit of a flashpacker that appreciates superb trendy design, Selina Floripa has your name on it.
The photos say it all, right?
We’d recommend this more for couples, families, and older travellers. Basically anyone that enjoys doing their own thing whilst staying somewhere in style.
Having said that, there is still plenty of option to socialise here if that’s your thing.
Tucano House Summer Hostel

Tucano House is an incredibly relaxed and welcoming accommodation which feels very much like a home.
This hostel is owned and run by a friendly outgoing group of local and international staff who are keen to help you have the best time in Florianopolis.
Important: During the quiet season (winter) Tucano focuses on renting private rooms only for monthly and daily rent. This period is from August to December each year.
During the summer, dorm rooms are available alongside:
